Starting the Quest Chain
To begin The Tale of Dreams Plucked from Fire, players must first complete the Lost in the Woods quest. After that, head to the Statue of The Seven in Toyac Springs, located in southern Natlan. Just south of the statue, an entrance leads to an underground area—follow this path to find Chikya, the NPC who initiates the quest. She's waiting near some ruins, ready to share her tale.
Upon approaching Chikya, an enemy called Secret Source Automaton: Hunter Seeker appears—defeat it swiftly to start the Tracer No Tracing quest. This sets the stage for a deeper exploration, so grab your best team and get ready for action!
Completing Tracer No Tracing
This quest involves navigating underground ruins and solving puzzles. After defeating the initial enemy, follow the quest markers deeper into the ruins. Soon, you'll encounter a locked door with Phlogiston Engravings nearby. To open it, find a Koholasauran (a Saurian creature) in the area and transform into it. Then, use its head to smash the pillar with the Unveiling Script—this teaches you the script. Return to the engravings and select 'Activate' to unlock the door. A teleport waypoint awaits just ahead; unlock it for quick access later.
Dive further into the magma ruins to find an odd mechanism in the center. To activate it, you need two Unveiling Scripts:

First Script: Located south of the teleporter. Approach it to spawn two Iridescent Beams—disable them by interacting:

At the end of this island, interact with a Giant Stone Tablet to summon an Iridescent Inscription, which turns into a spiritway and spawns a Koholasauran’s Spiritsconce. Transform and ride the spiritway to the final island—this ride is visually stunning with multiple lanes to switch between and items to collect along the way.
