I spent the better part of a weekend inside the House of Hesperides, and I walked out with an Eye of Graeae fragment, a new achievement, and a mild distrust of wedding venues. The Hesperides of Love and Hate questline in Genshin Impact is one of three paths you must clear to collect an Eye of Graeae fragment, and in 2026 it remains one of the most labyrinthine chains HoYoverse has ever built into Snezhnaya. Here is exactly how I did it, step by step, so you can skip the part where I walked in circles for forty minutes.

Getting the Invitation to the Ritual
Everything begins in Svetloledovka. I teleported to the Waypoint in the middle of town and simply kept walking forward in the same direction I had been facing when I arrived. Eventually the ground gives out and I dropped into a mining area surrounded by workers. On one of the wooden platforms sat a glinting spot — I investigated it and pocketed an Invitation to the "Ritual."
If you miss it, there is a second route: Mesherskaya stands southwest of the Waypoint, near the bulletin board, and she will hand you the invitation directly.

Through the Gates of Ivory
With the invitation in hand, I headed south to the Fellfrost Peak Statue of the Seven. Merely arriving there triggered Through the Gates of Ivory, the opening act. I followed the marker to Ikhor, then tailed him to the House of Hesperides.
At the mansion door, submit the invitation to the statue on the right-hand side. That single interaction is the difference between standing outside in the cold and being ushered into a hall of blue carpet and very bad intentions.

Inside, I followed the markers to the main hall and then to the Chapel. The route is: up the stairs, left, then right, and straight along the blue carpet until you hit the wedding venue. Standing there in that chapel felt like being a guest at a celebration where every smiling face is quietly taking notes on how to kill me.
The Quest Splits Into Three
After the scene plays out, the questline fractures into three branches. This is where most players get lost, so here is the structure laid out plainly:
| Branch | Purpose | Required? |
|---|---|---|
| Procrustes' Iron Bed | Main progression | Yes — final branch |
| House of the Soulless | Recover first Ikhor fragment | Yes |
| The Sun's Gilded Apple | Recover second Ikhor fragment | Yes |
You must finish House of the Soulless and The Sun's Gilded Apple before Procrustes' Iron Bed can move forward.
House of the Soulless
I returned to the waypoint near the mansion entrance and climbed the stairs on the left. A door waits immediately to your left — go in. On the right, a guard blocks a private room, so I took the detour via the left staircase, heading right while mentally flagging the closed elevator I would need later.

Inside, I investigated everything until a secret room revealed itself. Solving the puzzle there opened the cellar, and the first Ikhor fragment was mine. Navigating this mansion is like reading a book whose pages have been shuffled by someone who finds that funny.
The Sun's Gilded Apple
Back out, I headed for the elevator that had been sealed earlier and rode it down to the garden. Sneaking through the greenery netted me the second Ikhor fragment. With both fragments collected, I returned to the Chapel.

That return triggered a battle with the Snegovik. Winning it completed Procrustes' Iron Bed and rolled the chain into its final phase: Bell Ringing at Dusk.
Bell Ringing at Dusk
I went back inside along the blue carpet and stopped the moment I saw the upward staircase — there is an opening to my right. Through the door, right, then up the stairs. An enemy guards the elevator; I removed them and ascended.
Next came the Rumblebranch, that blue lightning-infused, tree-like object. Approaching one lets you shoot upward almost instantly, so I chained them greedily to climb fast. Later the quest asks for two Rumbletwigs — follow the marker, and mind your footing, because a fall here costs you real time.

Once the twigs are submitted, you break through the clouds and face the boss. Beating it closes Bell Ringing at Dusk and, with it, the entire Hesperides of Love and Hate questline.

Rewards and Final Thoughts 🏆
-
Ladder of Love achievement — 10 Primogems
-
One Eye of Graeae fragment toward the wider Snezhnaya objective
-
A lasting suspicion of chapels
The whole chain took me roughly two hours once I stopped second-guessing the layout. My advice: trust the markers, note every closed elevator you pass, and never assume a staircase is the only way up. Chasing these quest markers is like following a lighthouse that quietly relocates every time you blink — but the view from the clouds, and the Primogems, are worth the disorientation.
